| This thesis discusses nationality issues in watercolor painting. .Nationalism issues in art have been profoundly explored and discussed in different countries. Such explorations are valuable resources for Chinese watercolor painting to use for reference.However, the way of the show and the implentation in the art of watercolor painting varies from one country to another.Be aimed at the connection between nationality and modernity in modern art, this thesis firstly studies the current status and the background culture of the British traditional watercolor, and then compares them with the background and implementation of American modern watercolor. The purpose is to reveal the essence of art creation, namely, similar to the other types of art, the watercolor painting is an artistic language that is built upon national culture and is accumulated in the background of modern culture study. This thesis further takes the procceed of ink and wash painting in both China and Malysia as an example to illustrate the equal importance of international culture communication and national culture study. In the development of modern art. Japanese painting and sculpture explains that in the art commutation and the usage for reference, regressing to the national is not only the simple concern to the traditional culture, but also the basis for the development of modern watercolor painting.Holding national emotion does not necessarily mean adhering to national selfish departmentalism; Similarly, emphrazing communication does not mean abandoning national artistic style. Art does not simply stick to the formal factors , it actually needs deeply support in terms of nationality factors originating from artists'mind and emotion. |
