| This thesis deals with the study of colleges and universities major classes (English major exclusive) classroom teaching discourse. The thesis analyzes classroom teaching records transfer discourse materials under natural conditions, depicting the main cohesive manners of classroom teaching discourse systematically, such as reference relationship, ellipsis and substitution, logical conjunction, language repetition and interrogative sentence pattern. The main representations of faulty formulation relevant to cohesion in teaching discourse are inappropriate reference, inappropriate ellipsis, inappropriate logical conjunction usage, inappropriate language repetition and inappropriate interrogative sentence pattern. Two basic countermeasures are put forward to solve the existent problems: improve teachers' spoken language skills and put stress on methods and practice. |
