On Language Use In Job-hunting By College Students

There are a lot of problems on language use in job-hunting especially in resume for the college students. Based on the basic knowledge of pragmatics, rhetoric, syntactic, the study of commonalty relationship, and social linguistics, this thesis analyzed the language using in job-hunting for college students to help them grasp the specific language using skill.This thesis consists of 3 chapters.Chapter one includes the characteristics of the usage of oral language and written language in job hunting.Chapter Two point out and analyzes the language using problems in job hunting with the basic knowledge of pragmatics, rhetoric, syntactic, the study of commonalty relationship, and social linguistics.Chapter three with personal experiences in employment instructions and the basic knowledge of pragmatics, rhetoric, syntactic, the study of commonalty relationship, and social linguistics, writer expounds the pragmatic principles, the rhetorical principles and some language using skill. Some strategies in using these principles are also put forward to help college students outstand others in severe competition.
