It stemed from the the Dong Jin Dynasty that buddhist monks wrote poems. WangFuzhi in the《Jiang zhai shi hua 》said:"Buddhist poems stem from the Dong Jin Dynasty". This displayed in the monk having real poems, but also these poems were vavious anddifferent, and so Dong Jin Nan Dynasties made a start in the development history ofChinese Buddhist poems. From then on there had been more and more Buddhist poets, andthe quantity of Buddhist poems had been increased and the content and subject got abundant.The situation formed prosperity in the Tang Dynasty. The number of Buddhist poets and thequality of the poems had exceeded the previous generations. Buddhist poems got better andbetter day by day. This article is about the experience and the literature of Buddhist poets inthe Dong Jin Nan Sui Tang Dynasties, and the literature involved on the recordation andedition. This article is divided into five chapters. The former four chapters are about theliterature of Buddhist poets in the Dongjin Dynasty, in the Nan Dynasty, in the Sui Dynasty,and in the Tang Dynasty, and the last one is on the theory link with Buddhist and poems.Everyone is introduced about their experience and literature one by one according to timesequence. The introduction depends on the information I have collected. I try to explaindetailedly and truly as much as possible in the principle of seeking truth from facts. So Ihope that this article could be useful to the academia.
