The Way Of Thinking To Truth And Art

Heidegger believes that art is the becoming and happening of truth. The essence of truth, as aletheia, letting beings be, is freedom. In fact, art is the issue of Being. Thinking of truth and art concern the thinking of Being for Heidegger. The Origin of the Work of Art is an important work of Heidegger because of thinking concerning art and truth. My article means to understand Heidegger's thinking of Being.The first chapter includes Heidegger's thinking of Western aesthetics and truth. He thinks that usual viewpoints of truth and aesthetics don't discover the essence of art and essence of truth. Because they have been forgotten Being. Thinking of art is necessary for Heidegger's thinking of Being. In the second chapter, we will follow Heidegger's thinking of art, including thing, work, equipment, world, earth, creation, preservation, poetry. Heidegger thinks the usual thing-concepts can't release the work's work-character. The setting up of a world and the setting forth of earth are two essential features in the work -being of the work. The strife between world and earth makes truth be itself. Work's creation is different from making equipment and work's preservation makes truth be itself. In Heidegger's opinion, Art is a distinctive way in which truth comes into being.In a word, the thinking of art, truth and Being are three missions of The Origin of the Work of Art. The usual viewpoints of aesthetics can hardly release Heidegger's thinking of art. We should listen to Being.
