On Comparative Study Of Loan Contracts Unearthed In Dunhuang-Turpan

Abstract: Dunhuang-Turpan Loan Contract written in Chinese is a kind of the social economic amanuenses which are unearthed in Turpan region, Dunhuang region and their neighborhood, it is from the end of 4th century A.D. to 10th century, and is expressing the relations of lending behaviors.Looked at the diachronic situation., Dunhuang-Turpan Loan Contracts are not earlier than that of the Western and Eastern Han , Wei, Jin dynasties, and are not later than that of the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. So to speak , the study of Dunhuang-Turpan loan contracts is advantageous to further developmental condition of understanding the Chinese contractual culture and native language contracts. Looked at the synchronic situation., the right flank of Dunhuang-Turpan region is the civilization of Han and Tang dynasties, the left flank of Dunhuang-Turpan region is the breeze in Western Regions. In a way, to study Dunhuang-Turpan loan contracts written Chinese is advantageous to understanding the relation of the economic culture between Xinjiang and Central Plains, is advantageous to understanding the further political factor at the different culture interactive function, is advantageous to further investigate the race economy relation of Wei, Jin, North and South, Sui and Tang dynasties. We know that discussing the basic aspects of Loan Contracts written in Chinese is very important to explain some special phenomena of native language loan contracts, such as loan contracts written in Vigur language, the former are the essential condition that the latter carry on a research.
