Neo-Boudoir Art is the mainstream of contemporary female's painting in China. Xia Junna is one of the representatives of Neo-Boudoir Art. This paper attempts to analyse Xia Junna's works and move backward to the original of Neo-Boudoir Art and how it comes into being; and the developing and profundity social reason and the original of history and culture. After discussing the vitality of the Neo-Boudoir Art and its development approach, the writer hopes that this paper can contribute to arouse the artists to reconsider the value of self and art in the contemporary era.The main body of this paper is divided into the following four parts:The first part is an introduction. In this part, this paper will reveal the significance of study the Neo-Boudoir Art, and make an introduction to the research theme and the research approach.The second part analyses the actuality of the Neo-Boudoir Art, and moves backward to the original relationship between the Neo-Boudoir Art and the traditional Boudoir and indicates the reason why to choose Xia Junna to analyse the Neo-Boudoir Art.The third part reveals the deep intrinsic factors and the extrinsic factors through the analysing the features of Neo-Boudoir Art of Xia Junna's.The fourth part probes into the development tendency of Neo-Boudoir Art and indicates the theme of this paper that the Neo-Boudoir Art can achieve in deed development only by concerning more about the society.In modern society, an art trend coming into being is closed connected with the medium and business speculation. Only when the society does not over-concern about "Boudoir", the condition of blindness following will be reduced. Only through the artists of Neo-Boudoir Art concerning more about the social reality and fresh state of life, the Neo-Boudoir Art can in deed achieve development and in deed attain an equal status to have a dialog with mainstream arts.
