| This research based on the practice of word teaching method in class, using the theory of pedagogy, methodological in teaching words in TCSL, the application of context in TCSL, tried to deduct a practical way to teaching words in intermediate level, and set up a teaching model that can be used. This research is based on theory, but it lays importance in combining theory and practice. The main theories are contextual and cognitive.This research tried to discuss and solve three problems:1. Coordinate the contextual and methodological in teaching words theories in TCSL, and make them as the basic theory of this research.2. Based on the practice of word teaching method in class, using the theory of pedagogy, methodological in teaching words in TCSL, the application of context in TCSL, tried to deduct a practical way to teaching words in intimidate level, and set up a teaching model that can be used.3. Practice the teaching model and tried to perfect it.This research starts from the key issue but also the important problem that waits to be settled, put forward a frame method to improve the method in teaching words in reading lessons of intermediate level. And then starts from the important theories, throughout deduction and summarize theories, proving and using them, making them as the basic of the teaching model. And at last, used this model to class practice to test and perfect. The practice was lasted for a whole semester.The first chapter is to make clear some import concepts in context theory. The important concepts are about the factors the context includes. The second chapter is to arrange every important school's theories about contextualized teaching methods in teaching second language in order. And then discuss the contextualized teaching method in TCSL. The third chapter is to use the theories, both in linguistic and in cognitive, to deduct a theory in using contextualized method to teach words in reading lessons of intermediate level in TCSL. The chapter four is to put forward the teaching model of using contextualized method to teach words in reading lessons of intermediate level in TCSL. The fifth chapter is to practice the model in class and perfect it. And at last is the conclusion.The research is deeply and based on firm theory, with theory analysis and the classroom practice.
