Studies On Social Practice Of Language Attitude

Language attitude is a topic of important, sensitive and valuable. But the studies before have some deficiency. They pay less attention to how language attitude forms in daily life and now it influence our life, the study method is monotonous.We study the language using the theses of constructivism and social practice. This study bases on numerous data, analyse the real discourse date by discourse analysis a new point that language is constructed subjectivdy in our social practice.This paper is divided into 6 chapters:In the 1st chapter, summarize the studies of language before, analyse their fruit and deficidency, advance the value of this thesis. This thesis examines the language using the theses of constructivism and social practice, attempts to show how language forms in our daily life and to analyse the cultural phenomenon. This paper uses the questionnaire and interview, analyse the real discourse date by discourse analysis and case analysis, supplement the matched-guise technique.In the 2nd chapter, expound the blackground of the theory, summarize the constructivism, point out the enlightenment of this theory to our study.In the 3rd chapter, describe statically the language with the empirical studies. In this chapter, we analyse the existance connotation, existance shape and cause of the language and shows the appearance of the language from many angles.In the 4^th chapter, study dynamiclly the form of language. We analyse real discourse by discourse analysis, differentiale the abstract language from concrete language, point out that the abstract language is constructed in social practice before and concrete language is constructed by the situation of discourse communicatior, show how language is formed in daily life.In the 5th chapter, analyse the cultural phenomenon, make a proposal for language policy.In the 6th chapter, summarize the feature of this paper, point out the deficiency.Above all, this paper use a new angle, using both quantitative and qualitative methods of analysis, using both statical describtion and dynamic analysis, point out that the language is constructed subjectively in social practice, and analyse thecultural phenomenon by this point and make a proposal for language policy.
