The 21 centuries'Chinese curriculum standard has raised the view of "not pursue the knowledge system intentionally"in the backgound of the curriculum reform.Various views has been put forward .However, deeper research on language knowledge has always been a obstacle on coming to a conclusion.We are the first-hand material to support our discussion. The thesis consists of 4 parts.Part 1: The initiate of our research.We clearly classify the main views in language knowledge discussion. Then,based on the modern idea of knowledge, we plan our research.Part2: Briefly description on the way of our research . Part3:We investigate a nine-year-old child's language .An complete analysis which focuses on accuracy, appropriation and coherence has been conducted on pronunciation, vocabulary, grammer, pragmatics.Part4: Based on the analysis a test on T's language knowledge has also been planned and conducted.We analyze her language knowledge .Part5:Relevant discussion. Important problems like "whether school-year children have language knowledge"," the way of school-year children's getting language knowledge","the character of school-year children's language knowledge" ," the way of language knowledge teaching"are discussed.The purpose of this thesis is that,through doing investigation and test ,drawing a conclusion of language knowledge is not equal to linguistic knowledge, and school-year children also have languge knowledge.Constuction is the basic way of languange knowledge getting .Proper language knowledge teaching both at home and in school should adapt to school-year children and can promote their capability of language .
