The Research On UI Design Of Net-Play

Net, as a new culture conveyer and communication media, is affecting every aspect of human life. Digital design is different from that of traditional times in terms of contents, forms and aesthetics. Nonlinear design in digital time is typical of mutuality and exchanging, which has changed the way of design-appreciation—from passive acceptance to active participator on the part of the audience. This is also a renovation of art and design, displaying humanity of design. Interface design of net-play is only a part of digital design.The production of net-play is the demand of modern society and net-play is playing an important role in social life. Modern society, in which people spend their spare time differently from the former times, needs net-play. What is more, net-play is one of the important ways to communicate traditional Chinese excellent culture.This thesis attempts, from perspective of art and design, to explore the essence, the law, the aesthetics of digital design and its influences on future design. The novel point of this thesis lies in the studies of humanity and visual cognitiveness of net-play design, and in the impacts of interface design of net-play on modern design theories as well.
