| This thesis is to analyze the importance of cultural factors in teaching of Chinese as a foreign language to the intermediate and advanced foreign students in audio-visual-oral class from the angle of teaching practice. With the development of language teaching in audio-visual-oral class, culture teaching in language class has become an unneglectable constituent. Non-verbal communication is a significant part in communication process. The foreign students may learn and acquire the knowledge about non-verbal communication more directly audio-visual-oral class. That is one of the special features that distinguish audio-visual-oral class from other classes, such as the intensive reading, listening comprehension class and so on. The non-verbal communication also contains some cultural factors in it, which haven't been given adequate attention to in teaching practice. As a result, that may cause the information loss in the communication, or barriers which affecting students'learning and acquisition of language knowledge in audio-visual-oral language teaching.In addition, based on the conclusion byПорохов, the famous Russian linguist and teaching methodology expert, about cultural factors influencing cross-cultural communication, and Zhao Aiguo's and Jiang Yaming's conclusions on cultural factors in foreign language teaching practice, the thesis analyzes the cultural factors in audio-visual-oral language teaching, and further analyzes the loss of information in language communication due to cultural interference and communication barriers caused by it.Combining culture teaching and language teaching, the thesis puts forward a solution to the interference of cultural factors in audio-visual-oral language teaching and analyzes the teaching strategy under the guidance of culture teaching theory. The thesis also describes the prospect of audio-visual-oral Chinese teaching on the basis of culture teaching theory. |
