On The Patterns And Assessment Of The Maternal Love Thesis In Contemprary Chinese Literature

Since "May-fourth" movement, along with the incessant emancipation of human nature and strength of life-sense and self-awareness, modern writers probe into the feminine modality of human being as parents from the perspective of maternal love .This thesis attempts to present the values of all kinds of maternal love through the study the types of the maternal love in contemporary literature.This thesis narrates four types of maternal love. The first pattern: maternal adoration: holy maternal love. I expatiate the maternal love which is demonstrated in Bingxin, Zhengheng Chen and Ling Ding's works, the consistent sublime maternal instinct of "serving as human" with "serving as daughter", and analyze the two aspects of maternal adoration: equibalance and unbalance. The second pattern: maternal lost: suffering maternal love. Illustrating the dreariness of "parent of slave", the form and connotation of self-lost enslaved mother through discussion the human modality of it.The third pattern: maternal instinct in "encircled city": embarrassed maternal love. This thesis illustrates how modern females bump into the being of "complaining women" in the obstacles of traditional maternal love and reality. Illustrating the existence of embarrassment and hopelessness of maternal love .The fourth pattern: walk out maternal mythology: deformed maternal love. I point that in contemporary literature, an obscure clue which exams the deformed maternal love exists really through the analyzing the description of "vice woman", such as Changyin Yuan and Yu Cao. I put emphasis on analysis Ailing Zhang's thoughts about deformed maternal love. representing her thoughts about deformed maternal love concerning the connotation of society, human nature, historical connotation. At last, illustrating the significance of feminine literature as a result of stepping out of the deformed maternal love: no matter the feminine autonomous awareness and care for maternal instinct, it is a kind of historical progress .
