The language is an essential tool for human beings to interchange ideas. It can express fully peoples' thought and emotion, so it compares to body language, the trying of knot in a cord, the toot, and the beacon-fire, it is the best of all. Thousands years ago, Tibetan ancient ancestors were born near the Yarlung Zangbo River region, and Tibetan language as well. As the population increased, the land expanded, and developed the society; the language also enriched a lot. However, as time went by Tibetan's were not able to satisfy peoples' all of needs, for enhancing social intercourse because language has time and space limitation. Therefore, Tibetans created their own written language according to their social practice, and since that written language became the most convenient way of interchanging thought and emotion between different areas. Ancient Tibetan communicating equipment was inconvenient, there wasn't modern correspondence like telephone, broadcast, and TV, especially Tibetan society was separated, and because of those reason reduced the contact between different areas. Therefore, the process of developing Tibetan oral language, different areas formed different dialects. Since the difference increased as time went by, it became difficult to communicate orally. However, written language has been staying more or less the same for all of different areas. Because written language has arranged regulate several times during the Tibetan imperial. During The 21st century the information has increased sharply, so people have more and more chance to contact different group and areas. Therefore, to establish a standard Tibetan language is very important. This paper would compare the three domestic Tibetan dialects, which are Whizung, Kham, and Amdo dialect, and point out the differences. This paper would divide into four chapters; the first chapter would compare the pronunciation, the second chapter would compare vocabulary, the third chapter would compare grammar, the fourth chapter would talk about my personal opinion and the advantages of having a standard language. Furthermore, it suggests that to take the Lhasa dialect as the standard pronunciation, and to take the vocabulary and grammar from both written language and three of dialect. Finally, it discuses about how to promote the standard language to all over the Tibetan areas effectively.
