| Johan Sebastian Bach was born from a musical family in Eisenach Thuringen Germany on March 21,1685. Renaissance has happened in Europe that time, Humanism has appeared unparalleled imagination in philosophy, science, literature, art etc. This give occasion to happen Religion Crusade in Germany and Martin Luther invented chorale. The melody of chorale is popular, the word is German in place of Latin, and breaked away from Catholic monopolise to church music; enhanced German nationality, so be abundant in humanities. Later chorale became the fountain to compose to Bach, there are above 3/5 chorales in Bach church music and emphasis reflect civilian thinking include himself, and reflect Germany citizen in search of lovely living.This thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters. Introduction is a summary on the background in the seletion of the topic, current study on the topic. Chapter One introduces the history and achievement of Bach. Chapter Two expounds the reason to happen of humanism, so elaborates the influence from humanism to Bach thinking, in the end elaborates the influence from humanism to Bach music, Chapter Three research humanities in church music, profane music and teaching of Bach.
