| Marguerite Duras(1914-1996), a famous female writer, took the vital important position in contemporary French literature for her unique writing and living style. With high female consciousness, Duras wrote from the standpoint of a woman who knew clearly what kind of life the woman had lived, which made her speak and write more freely. Duras viewed, experienced and expressed the world from the standpoint of a female. She aimed to emphasize the female perspective and standpoint in writing as well as their experience towards life in detail. The"privatized"narrative means an antagonism to masculine"Great Narrative". Hence her writing is isolated, desperate and crazy.Duras stressed the proportion of desire in female life and her writing, which were also a typical... |
