Study On Antonym In《Huainanzi》

Antonym is familiar aggregation relationship,the Sense Relationship of antonym, the member distribution and subrogation change in antonym aggregation,can all represent terminology and terminological system of the special era. This paper introduce the theories of modern Semantics such as component analysis and Semantic Field and so on , and discuss the determinant standards of antonym,and farther according to these standards there are 502 couple of antonyms in"Huainan Zi". They are classified by grammatical meaning and relation type.further more using the method of combining static description and diachronic comparison, the antonyms in the book are deeply researched ,try to find out the characteristics terminology and terminological system, which can represent the epoch.The paper consists of seven sections:Introduction: expatiating the status in quo and significance of ancient Chinese antonyms research,discuss the problem of determinant standards of ancient Chinese monograph antonyms.The paper emphasize to introducethe determinant of ancient Chinese monograp antonyms with the theories of seme analysis(Componential Analysis) and Semantic Field of Modern Semantics。Chapter 1: the antonyms in"Huainan Zi". Introducing statistic method and statistic results. There are 502 couples of antonyms in number among the book ,classified according to grammatical meaning: there are 212 couples of adjective, 201 couples of verb,85 couples of noun,and 2 couples of adverb, 2 couples of pronoun. classified according to relation type ,they can be further classified 3 kinds : complementarity relationship,polarity relationship and reverse relationship。Chapter 2: the Juxtaposition of"Huainan Zi"antonyms。There are maily"duiwen"",lianwen"and"biaoqianshi"three kinds. The analysis of Juxtaposition is hleful to determine antonym,and also to descry the understand of ancients to antonym.Chapter 3: the description of antonyms in"Huainan Zi".This chapter is static description,classified to 4 kinds : bilateral single meaning antonyms,bilateral multi-meaning antonyms,multilateral monosemantic antonyms,multilateral multivocal antonyms。Among them multilateral monosemantic antonyms and multilateral multivocal antonyms are absolutely majority ,this is consanguineous with the development of synonyms and polysemous word,this reflected that During the early Han dynasty,which"Huainan Zi"was writed, Lexical Semantics of...
