Troubled by the system, most theaters in China benefit unsatisfactorily because of a single mode of management. In the development and innovation of the managemnet model of grand theaters, there are four typical management models at present in our country. The first is the Shanghai Grand Theater model, which mainly conducts elegant performances. Relying on the advantages of an international metropolis, it obtains a high box office, although the ticket price is high. The second, the Beijing Chaoyang Theater model, featuring acrobatic performances to attract tourists home and abroad, has had a good benefit. The third, theater rental model, which is the management model of most theaters in China, takes the space rent as the main management mode, resulting in bad economic benefits. The fourth, Changsha Tianhan Theater model, unifying the local cultural characteristic and the theater traditional cultural characteristic, develops a mode appealing to both cultured and popular tastes. With the implementation of scale management, it has created a good social and economic benefits.Tianhan Grand Theater theatre management model is as follows: First, it breaks the traditional model, creating a 365-day theater. It introduces the singsong house culture with Changsha regional culture characteristics to theater, trying to create a 365-day theatre, (theater which conducts performances daily). It also determined the objective of "appealing to both cultured and tastes, guiding the popular culture, transiting gradually to cultured taste", creating a new theater culture. Second, it increased the number of performances, using the scale management mode to enhance efficiency. Third, it did well in market marketing to win reputation. Fourth, it innovated the management mechanism, serving the customers wholeheartedly and continually enhances the audience's satisfaction.Tianhan Grand Theater music hall management model is as follows: The concert management is a typical elegant arts management, and those that conduct elegant art in various countries are all non-profit organizations. Tianhan music hall management model is the series concert management model, adopting the scale management mode. On the one hand ,it strives for the strong support of the government, conducting the public welfare or half public welfare concerts; on the other hand, it reduces or remits the music hall rent to encourage companies and schools to participate in the concert management, conducting a series of high-quality concerts. The scale management benefits, and leads the elegant arts to the benign track. Based on the theater performance brand and stream of people, Tianhan creates a category of non-performing companies or schools, launches the exploration of theater brand strategy, and has made certain achievements.Tianhan model can be used for a reference to the theater operation in the less developed Chinese mid-west area. The inspirations that we can draw from the management model of Tianhan Grand Theatre are as follows: First, theatres should pay great attention to marketing and planning and have the concept of making culture more significant. Second, performances should be based on localization and local cultural characteristics is the fundamental factor to retain popularity and box office. Third, one should develop the market and implement the scale management. Fourth, one must have a good mechanism for operating theaters. Finally, group management is a must of the theater brand strategy.
