Study On Poetry In Nantang Dynasty

As an important period in Five Dynasties and Ten States, Nantang Dynasty boasts very prosperous poetry creations with many outstanding poets as well as the poetry works. In Chapter One, on the basis of Nantang Poets' creations, the author sorts out several important groups of poets. Chapter Two analyzes the Nantang poetry theme tendency through concrete works, and then divides them into five themes including recalling ancient times, reflections on things and reality, longing for friendships, the horizon bridle hates,forests and springs; Next divides Nantang poetry styles into three aspects: simple and beautiful; shallow vulgar, painstakingly read poems the wind and inspects their inheritance and utilization of mid and late Nantang poem styles. Then the author summarizes the creation style of Nantang poetry and poets' emotion contradictions manifested in the poetry, analyzing the factors affecting this period's creations. Chapter Three mainly elaborates the Nantang poems' influence on poetry of Song Dynasty, so as to confirm the Nantang poems' role in the literature, serving as a link between the past and the future.
