A Survey On Chinese Lucky Culture In Modern Graphic Design

Chinese Lucky Culture has a typical national characteristic,which is a solid foundation to success and a unique magic weapon to open up and recreate in modern graphic designing.Nowadays,effected by the thought of "the more nationalization,the more globalization",most Chinese graphic designers take Chinese Lucky Culture as creating materials in varying degrees.This undoubtedly brings a new problem too. That is to say,how to draw spirtual strength from Chinese tradition culture more rationally to recreate.Chinese Lucky Culture is one of the most important parts of the Chinese art design and its visional beauty in the modem art design and the historical cultural heritage value should not be ignored. In this article, based on the originality of the traditional auspicious texture, discusses its form and nature, which in away reflects that the art design is the action and will be of kindness and beauty. Inheriting prevailing than and putting their spiritual element into the modem art design will be bound to bring a vast cultural and social value.In this essay,the author summed up Chinese Lucky Culture briefly at first and then analyzed the typical features of it.From three different angles of shape,purpose and spirit,the author explained the from of drawing lessons from the traditional lucky elements in modern designing.What's more,by analyzing cases from both China and abroad,from past time to modern time,the author insists that we discover the nationalized vocabulary and national style in a globalized sight of view,for different nationalized styles go with different backgrounds.In this article,the author also touched the methods in which the Lucky Culture deduction into modern designing.From analysis in different aspects and angles,he tries to find a proper way between tradition and modern,the past and the future;thus,we could stimulate the tradition elements to eadiate their vitalities in a changing space-time.
