Xu Fuguan once in the book《Chinese Human nature history (Pre-Qin)》said that"Human nature history"he would narrate was embodied in Chinese culture history and every schools'basic opinion about the origin of life and moral, which belonged to thought history problems."The main contents of Human nature are about what the nouns that include life(moral),nature(virtue),heart,feeling and talent stand for. Human nature not only is as a thought, but also has backbone position in Chinese philosophy thoughts history, and it is the principle and motivity of Chinese spirit form."《Chinese Human nature history . Pre-Qin》, which is written by Xu Fuguan, is one part of Chinese philosophy thoughts history of"centralize special issue". The special issue, which is in the book ninth chapter, is to study the Great Learning doctrine,which is regard as the integration of Confucian thoughts.About the opinion of Xu Fuguan , all human culture are gestated from religion. Pre-Qin Confucian thoughts are gradually developed, carried out and centralizing human's moral nous from ancient original religion, and then developed and established."From spirit meaning character kismet developed into Spring & Autumn period moral displine character kismet; from out moral displine kismet developed into Confucianism inhibit character kismet; from nature, the essential of life, developed into the heart, which is inhibited in life, governing the life, and can be holded by everyone. Heart has Dharma and intellectuality two aspects. Dharma is the principal part of human morality. Mencius did very well in this aspect. Intellectuality is the principal part of human episteme. Xun-Zi did very well at this aspect. So the human nature of Pre-Qin Confucian was developed maturely when it comed to Mencius and Xun-Zi。The deepness integration, achived from The Great Learning, can be seen as the accomplish of Pre-Qin Confucian human nature.Mencius said nature is good. He is set out from the heart's effect, which is goodness. Heart is the moral heart, the Ren-Yi heart, and is the principal part of morality. Everyone has Four-Hearts, just as having the four limbs, which is given by Tian.Mencius not only inherited and developed Confucius humanity, but also endowed it new contents, which enriched humanity and Dharma and made them more active. Everyone can find the source of goodness. It depended on how to store and cultivate it, and extended it. Mencius belived everyone can be Yao-Shun, and this encouraged many people's heart and turned them into goodness. Now, Mencius exerted Dharma well, and everyone understood the heart.What Mencius focused on is a kind of innate and inner strength. But what Xun-Zi focused on is the kind of postnatal and outer strength. It is closed with life, and told you as a human in the reality world what you should do. Xun-Zi more regarded cognized heart. Heart is a principle part of intellectuality, and can know external affairs.In conclusion, intellectuality is the principle part of human episteme. At this spect the heart of Xun-Zi having said was different from Mencius. Xun-Zi said the moral heart indirectly, but from intellectuality.The Great Learning is the integration of Confucian thoughts. So it inherited Mencius thoughts and also emphasize the cognized heart of Xun-Zi. The Greart Learning united the intellectuality of Mencius and Xun-Zi. This made the heart's effect exerted well. Xu Fuguan achieved inner holy and outer great, morality and knowledge, which has been syncretized together.
