Bonpo Monastery Study

Kga-mi monastery,a famous early Bonpo monastery,which lie in northwest plateau of Sichuan province ,honored "the centre of Bonpo ares of west Tibet" by Bonpo people .This monastery have been builded for six hundred years from then on and take a certain position in Bonpo history.This thesis made full use of historical literature of Chinese and tibetan, chronologically andsynchronically, especially applied the methods of field work of ethnology, studied the Bonpo monastery thoroughly,from the outside and inside by various aspects,discussed the history,economy,education,ritual,culture and so on of Bonpo monastery.Tried to dig the influence of thoughts and concepts and social life which Bonpo bring about by Bon monastery study.Based on ,discussed an access to our deep understanding of the reliance and balance between Bonpo beliefs and Bonpo people each other.
