Studies On The Development Of Cultural Industry Of LinXia Hui Minority Autonomous Region Of Gansu Province

The development level of cultural Industry is a specific reflection of degree of combination of economy and culture, which also becomes a dimension for economic development. The 16th Party's Congress lengthily called for positive support and development of the cultural industry on the basis of the strategic target which aims to build an overall well-off society.Over the recent years lots of provinces or cities all over China have carried out detailed research and worked out strategic program on the cultural industry, resulting significant growth of regional cultural industry, where economy and culture are both much developed. The development of cultural industry is important to the development of tertiary industry, creation of more jobs and harmonious social and economic development.In view of the cultural globalization trend, the significance of cultural industry for harmonious social and economic development and LinXia's present growth of cultural industry while considerable problems still exist with the strategic positioning, structural scale and reform of cultural system, this thesis tries to utilize the industry economics, cultural economics, administrative management, strategic administration, ethnonymics and cultural industry-related theories to analyze LinXia's present cultural industry status in a purpose to provide advices on policies for LinXia's cultural industry development.This thesis is divided into 5 Chapters. Chapter 1 explaines connotation ,characteristic and function about cultural industry. Chapter 2 elaborates the theoretic basis of development of cultural industry and the research works and analyzes the development characteristics of cultural industry at home and abroad, with simple comments being made. Chapter 3 explains present situation and characteristic about LinXia's development of cultural industry. Chapter 4 analyzes interior and exterior factors impacting LinXia's development of cultural industry and describes LinXia's advantages of cultural resources and potential market,saying that China's entry to WTO provides LinXia with both opportunities and challenges and the ongoing West China Development Strategy brings in incentives and opportunities to LinXia's development of cultural Industry with attaching more importance to minority zone than past by nation . This chapter points out that LinXia should move forward toward the cultural industry while the present cultural administration system interference in cultural industry appear to be a major restraint on the development of cultural industry. Chapter 5 proposes a preliminary development strategy for LinXia's cultural industry, as well as having suggested LinXia Government to launch a series of initiatives to restructure the current cultural system.Finally the summary of this Thesis points out the possible insufficiency of the research of the Thesis.
