| In the field of educational psychology, educators and psychologists have been always paying close attention to students'learning behavior and processing, a lot of significant learning theories have appeared in the history of educational field. This paper investigates advance organizer'theoretical elements, history and current studies, and designs two experiments to analyzing how advance organizer work in the course of reading comprehension.This study focus on the introduction of"Advance organizer"strategy into the course of reading comprehension, choosing advance organizer with question type as subject, analyzing the effects that"Advance organizer"strategy bring to students'remembering, understanding and retaining, and discussing the influences of different kinds of advance organizers in students'studying. The results showed that: (1) Advance organizer can help improving students'understanding. (2) Advance organizer is beneficial to students'remembering and understanding, especially can help students understand materials. (3) Advance organizer can not only help students memorize materials, but also has a positive effect on keeping in long term memory. (4)Advance organizers of different kinds have different effects on students'reading comprehension. Advance organizer of factual-question type is beneficial to students'remembering, advance organizer of significative-question type is beneficial to student'remembering, understanding and processing. |
