Under this background, Yu Guangzhong who walked thoughout the front line of the innovation movement brightly revealed the slogan of"the modern prose"in the earlier 1960's. It said goodbye to the May Fourth vernacular worships and the negative style, challenging the May Fourth vernacular prose by the new appearance.Yu Guangzhong went on a deep exploration on the connotation of the"Modern"of"Modern Prose",focusing on requesting the creator to utilize the rich modern significance and the performance skills: namely emphasizing "the elasticity", "the density" and "the material" about the prose, using the literary reference to create the meaning ideal condition. Sence and intellect in harmony: the aesthetic model of Yu Guangzhoung's Modern Prose Theory"Sence and intellect in harmony"is a important standard about how to value a prose.To these two conception of"sence"and"intellect",Yu Guangzhong has the unique understanding. For exemple:He tries to broaden the artistic conception of a prose; create the positive literary style;and his big prose view demonstrates he has open artistic spirit. |
