WinJin is a crucial period for the culture changing of china. The political chaosand the social uneasiness have spurred on people to be awakened since the middle andthe later period of the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), and therefore which provide afertile soil for the rapid development of thought. The dark thinking which is based onthe conformity of the Confucian school and the Taoist school becomes the mainstreamof thought in this period. Under background with such thought and culture, thechildren in WinJin possess unique way of life and characteristics.Children are an extremely important period of life. Besides the socialenvironment factor, the game, the content and the way of education the childrenaccept in their childhood, the relationship with their family, and the way their parentsget on with people—all these have a far-reaching influence on the growth, theorientation of life and the further development.The WinJin historical data records that children is an outstanding group.Because of the few relative researches, the children life state in WinJin is discussedtentatively from the aspects of the children bearing, children education, childrenentertainment and the relationship between children and society. This thesis hopes toreveal the existing state of children and their social status in this special historicalperiod, probes fatherly the reasons to make up for the insufficient researches on thisaspect of the academic circle, and looks forward to being helpful for the childrenproblems of modern times.Children bearing are to research on the important content of the children life andthe relating issues, including praying for a son, pregnancy and antenatal instruction,birth, naming, wet nurse and supporting, dying young and adopting a son, etc. Thewomen gestation is to be pregnant with life. Birth is the starting point of life. Therelevant social existing state can be revealed from describing the basic situation ofchildren bearing and showing the attitude of people towards children bearing and theway on it. A child becoming useful person has close relationship with good education. Somany clever children appearing in WinJin is just the result of education. In WinJinperiod the center of education changes to family, which is the main position ofeducation. The family education contains content and manner two aspects. Its contenthas many common grounds with social education(including social education andprivate education), attaching much importance to traditional Confucian and beinginfluenced by dark thinking gradually at the same time and forming the content ofeducation with family feature,e.g, calligraphy, literature,etc. The family way ofeducation in WinJin is worth advocating. It is the appropriate manner of educationthat trains bright WinJin children. Confucian school and dark thinking with the sameimportance is one the features of the education in WinJin. On the one hand, Confucianschool has a dominant role in education relying on its deep root. On the other hand,the dark thinking is flourishing and involves m. With the joint effects of Confucianeducation and dark thinking influence, the WinJin children form a group distinctionwith age characteristics.The children psychologists think that game is the children's life and has afar-reaching influence on the children's intelligence, creativity, sociality, emotionaland physical development. The WinJin children have many entertainments with thecharacteristics of the combination of adulation and children peculiarity, includingChuPu, WeiQing,,ZhuMa, QingDou,DouZu,DouCao,Swing etc. Game is themain way of practice for children. In the game, children lay out their peculiarpsychological and emotional feature, and show their ambition of life and theorientation of value. To observe the game life of children can uncover the relationbetween children game and the social environment.Society is a complicated existence and composed of many elements. Family isthe basic constituent unit of society. Family offers shelter to children and regardschildren as the future and hope of the family. They depend on each other. The socialfactor affects children through family which is the bridge between children andsociety. Besides the family entity, law and religion constitute the social spiritexistence. The relationship between children and law and religion reveals the social life state and the social status of children, the attitude of society towards children andthe effects of social spirit on children. The nursery rhyme is part of children's life,having sociality and political nature. The generation of nursery rhyme, its feature andthe attitudes of different classes towards nursery rhyme reflect the internalrelationship among children, nursery rhyme and society.
