The inscription on drum-shaped stone blocks was bom up from the beginning of Tang denasty to present nearly 1400 years, because of the cripple of stone drum, the issue on it's ownership, ages and contents has never stopped as well. even during the Republic of China period, some famouse scholars such as MaHeng,GuoMoRuo etc, they claimed that stone drum was being established for Qin.however, it's concrete age problem is still not to be resolved.90's in last century, some scholars such as MaJiDao,ChenZhaoRong etc, they insist on the statement that the time of stone drum is at later spring and autumn to the earlier warring states, their opinion is a reasonable idea at present when no new materials and archaeological excavation appear. though, the time problem is the critical of the stone drum research, but, we should rather change the sight angel to study this important materials than argue with each other unprofitably, this text desire aims at the fishing and hunting culture factor, combining history document, carry on a special subject research. The paper includes seven part as bellow:Part one: the author describe generally the research of the stone drum and the Pre-Qin fishing and hunting culture, and I think the main contents of the inscription on drum-shaped stone blocks is fishing and hunting .though, many letters had been already destroyed to recognize not pure, the information on stone drum is good enough to display that the Qin denasty at spring and autumn period having flexible fishing and hunting culture, because of the less acial subject research.Part two: the ages problem of inscription on drum-shaped stone blocks of Qin. the ages problem exists an issue over a long period of time in the stone drum research, and it is also the most important problem, equally, in the paper, the ages problem is still need to be resolved first, at this part, the author mainly analyze some representative theories and the standpoint of representative person which ever appeared in the history. Comparing it's good and bad, selecting by examination a kind of opposite reasonable of parlance. Through analysis, adopting time boundary in "spring and autumn latter period arrive the earlier warring states"to be the fishing and hunting occurrence that inscription on drum-shaped stone blocks of Qin record of background ages. Part three: the West-Zhou period is a ritual society. The hunting includes a series of ritual activities. So it is also called "the ritual of hunting", this part, the author analyze the hunting activities at the West-Zhou period and spring and autumn period which was recorded in the cultural heritage data. getting such conclusion: the hunting at West-Zhou period is mainly the mean that the emperor and dukes military exercise use. Arrived the spring and autumn period, the property and function of hunting had been changed, then the pure military inspects appears; on the other hand the military inspect part is being abridged, hunting is to be reserved, the hunting therefore became a kind of game. The hunting in inscription on drum-shaped stone blocks of Qin is exactly a witness of the variety. Through analyze a series of activities such as : praying one propitious day and offering sacrifices to God before going to war; setting up hunting fields; hunting in the farmland; offering sacrifices to the ancestors etc. I think that the property of hunting in the inscription on drum-shaped stone blocks of Qin can be used to military practice and amusement.Part four: fishing and hunting is one kind of natural production which has a very strong kind of the dependence of the ecosystem environment. If no river, water resources in the lake and abundant plant, it is impossible that conceive fishing and hunting culture. The author makes some kind of investigation about the fishing location- Qian Water fields. And the history geography environment of the city of Qin-Yong City. At spring and autumn period, then, I think the YongCity of Qin all nearby has a superior natural fishing and hunting environment.Part five: the way and tools of fishing and hunting. The authors distinguish to fishing and hunting an adoptive way to carry on analysis. Mainly making an investigation to the word "Zhao"with philology methord which appear at《Qian Yi》.although release to read to still have an issue to this word. a great deal of fish in the text tell us: the fishing used fishing net and other a type of tool. Hunting is the descriptive point in the stone drum text. After learning《hunting vehicle》,《vehicle work》,《imperial carriage》.we can say that hunting used vehicles to hunt. Combining《setting up plain》"Zhi Zhi You Gu".we know that the hunting used a large-scale vehicles to hunt. And adopted hunting by encrircling the game.Part six: Qin's fishing and hunting at spring and autumn period and its position. Qin's fishing and hunting as a kind of mode of production, happened under the background which agriculture economy gets a substantial development. It proves that fishing and hunting is still a kind of important mode of production during the time when the social economic structure was being changed towards to agriculture economy. And it is closely related with the food, daily expenses, offering sacrifices to God,amusement. Therefore , it has a space for one person at Qin's society.Part seven: conclusion :the description of fishing and hunting in the inscription on drum-shaped stone blocks provide an important proof for us to understand the fishing and hunting culture during later of spring and autumn to the earlier of the warring states period. After analyzing the property of hunting, hunting ways, hunting related with social activities, in my opinion, fishing and hunting still plays important role in the social activities.
