Compared with traditional concept of translation theory which emphasizes the product of translation, cognitive-oriented translation places more emphasis on process. It is not only the transition of two languages but also complicated psychological and thinking process. Cognition-oriented translation is to undertake the interpretation about the translation process from the perspective of cognition, trying to base a translation model on the psychological reality and reveal the psychological mechanism and thinking law of translating. This paper, from the interdisciplinary perspective, taking cognitive linguistics as a starting point, mainly discusses the psychological factors that make effect on translator and thinking ways of translator in translation process in order to provide theoretical foundation for translation teaching, which is also the key point of this paper. After reviewing the status quo of translation teaching, this paper tries to find reasons of students' mistranslation from the aspect of psychological factors and transformation of thinking modes. At last, the corresponding strategies are provided to solve the problem.
