With the rapid development of science and technology, knowledge is being renewed faster than ever, which put forward the significance of lifelong learning and autonomous learning. This paper starts discussion from the explanation of necessity and feasibility of semi-autonomous class teaching model, then computer-assisted language learning (CALL) is described and illustrated in details. After the four effects of CALL on semi-autonomous class teaching was put forward, semi-autonomous class teaching model is analyzed thoroughly and deeply. At the end of this paper, an empirical test on the effectiveness of semi-autonomous class teaching model has been carried out.
