National Culture In The Visual Field Of Inter-subjectivity

After the debates of subjectivity in 1980s, we have a great growth in the development of inter-subjectivity theory. This due to the large number of translation of west inter-subjectivity and Chinese experts'discussion and application of this theory.The appearance of inter-subjectivity has its own inevitable development logic. It is based on and exceeded philosophy and aesthetics of western objectivity and subjectivity. The core of inter-subjectivity is the problem of subjectivity. The people, who advocate the study of inter-subjectivity is not opposite to subjectivity, but pay attention to and highlight the mutual relations between subjects. According to the previous statements, we should regard Other-the opposite of I, as an equal object which have equal rights of dialogue and communication with I or subject. Other is a necessary element that generates self-awareness. Only keep the harmonious relationship with objects and the others, can we (subject) become freely real subject and can the world become the real place that humankind live in.Bakhtin's Carnival Poetics and Dialogue Theory are the important parts of inter-subjectivity, which has great significance to solve the cultural, ethic and social conflicts. Today, in the condition of unequal voice of the world, every weaker group dreams of getting the right of voice and identity. There are full of contradictions, conflicts and mixture between mass culture/folk culture and elite culture/official culture. Using Bakhtin's theory to analyze the culture status of the present world, we are able to find that the difference of discourse form and value system, which includes centre discourse and ex-centre discourse, elite culture and mass culture and so on, is not clear. In fact, they are coexisted together and completed to each other, and being the mixed condition. This due to the large number of translationChinese traditional culture-the idea of'harmony with diversity'has spiritual similarities with philosophy and aesthetics of inter-subjectivity. They will develop to an ideal condition that contains different kind of elements and complements harmoniously, and mean while respect diversity and maintain multi-culture. Therefore, absorbing inter-subjectivity theory and carrying forward the spiritual quintessence of Chinese traditional culture have great theoretical reference and practical meaning.
