As a result of high-speed development of computer software system, the computer music technology has more and more applied to films,televisions, advertisements, pop music, and even the serious music. To some extent, the appearance of computer music technology is significantly the same as that of the 17th century pianos; it has had profound effect on present day's development of creation methods, acoustic carriers or music esthetics. However, compared with foreign countries, the computer music technology in our country is currently backward and it has made up a challenge to the teaching methods and ideas of the present music teaching. But it actually is playing an enormous assistance role in student's study of music and it helps transform ideas of music education in teacher's colleges in a way. At present some normal colleges and universities in our country have introduced computer music technology in their music teaching. They have applied computer music technology to improve and the develop existing curriculum educational models, to renew teaching ideas, to adjust course content and methods and to gradually establish new music-educating models to meet the demand of the society.In this article, the author presents her viewpoints on the present computer music technology in its influences to the society and its necessity, feasibility and the positive and negative influences in music teaching in normal colleges and universities and the future trends, hoping that the article will provide some guides in promoting the furthering the use of computer music technology in music teaching.
