The Narrative Tendency Of Nihuaben Novels At The Late-Ming-Dynasty And The Beginning-Qing-Dynasty

The narrative skills of Nihuaben novels have referred to dramaticor historical narration obviously at the Late-Ming-Dynasty and theBeginning-Qing-Dynasty.The narrative features of Nihuaben novels areresearch objects in this paper, which analyze representative novels,suchas lianchengbi, shi'erlou, zhenzhubo and so on in order to find the internalreasons of the development and deterioration of Nihuaben novels.This article is composed by three chapters.The introduction briefedthe current research situation, the meaning of topic-choosing and researchmethods.The first chapter discuss the dramatic features of Liyu's shortstories from four points: the legendization of nattative structure;definingthe roles as the angle in drama;the dramatic novel scenes; resolvingcontradictions in comedy. The second chapter discuss the relationshipbetween zhenzhubo and Ben-Mo-Styled books from the angles ofnarration's real tendency, narration's integrity tendency and the valuetarget's historical tendency. The third chapter grasp the differentdevelopment direction of Nihuaben novels,the one is dramaticnarration from Feng-menglong,Ling-mengchu to Liyu; the other isBen-Mo-Styled narration from xingshiyan to zhenzhubo. As far as I'mconcerned, because of the extensiveness and diversity of Nihuabennovels in song dynasty or yuan dynasty which Feng-menglong'ssanyan are based of, Nihuaben novels show a diversified developmenttendency at the first. Succeeding professional writers includingLing-mengchu, Liyu and Lu-renlong, Yanshuisanren etc. referred to dramatic or historical narration in creation of popular fiction with theirrelevant experience in variety of narrative literature in the long time.andNihuaben novels have declined with dissipation of this professionalwriters group.
