A Corpus-based Approach On The Difference Of Synonym

Based on a large-scale modern Chinese mandarin corpus, this thesis attempts toexplore the difference of synonym "～xu" in terms of its part of speech, register,semantic, syntax function, colligation, feature of collocation, semantic profile, formmark and so on.Six modules as follows are included in this thesis:(Ⅰ) Introduction(Ⅱ) Report of collocates to the right in different colligations (NP, AP, VP,S)(Ⅲ) Report of collocates to the left in four categories of markness.(Ⅳ) Report of the difference of "～xu" and analysis of biased errors.(Ⅴ) ConclusionThe conclusion of this study is believed to be of some value to TCFL and itslexicographists.
