We can see that the western modernism and post-modernism have a great effect on her writing after the analytical study her novels. The paper first tries to analyze the features presented in her novels from three aspects: (1) the influence of western feminism to her creation (2) the influence of Jorge Luis Borges' form of maze to her creation (3) her understanding of the essence of Franz Kafka's works and her conscious acceptance in her writing. Then the paper examines the writing trend vertically in her over 20 years' creation: from the imitation of the world of dreams to the description of the kingdom of the soul; from the modernism to the post-modernism, thus striving to show fully the creative features and personality and her literary value. |
