| The auxiliary word, a very important word type in empty words of Chinese, Which expresses the state and aspect of movements, displays mood, and constitutes the various structures, is an important means to express emotions and to convey meanings. The study of the auxiliary word in Modern Chinese is an important part of the study of the Modern Chinese grammar, as well as a key link to research the history of the Chinese grammar. To study the grammar of the given books is the foundation work in studying of Modern Chinese grammar. Piao tong shi yan jie is one of the most important Chinese textbooks in the entire Korean era(1392-1910),Which was compiled in the Late Dynasty of Gao Li(approximately corresponding to the Late Yuan Dynasty in China), and the editor is unknown. Piao tong shi yan jie, the annotation in YanWen, made by well-known Korean linguist, Cui Shizhen ,in the early half of the 16th century, was based on the original book, Piao tong shi(undiscovered utill now), and the part of the Chinese language in Piao tong shi yan jie was revised by the Chinese ambassadors, Gegui and others, which was different from the first version of the Yuan Dynasty. Piao tong shi yan jie broadly reflects the spoken language in northern China in the Early Ming Dynasty, which perhaps was mixed with southern dialect ingredients.This thesis, which has 7 parts, studies the 25 auxiliary word in Piao tong shi yan jie systematically and completely. Chapter 1 is the introduction of the origin of the language materials, the author of the Piao tong shi yan jie, the time when the book was compiled, the changes of the versions, the results of the study of the grammar and the status quo and significance of the researches in the auxiliary words in the modern Chinese. From Chapters 2 to 6, I respectively introduce the structural auxiliary, dynamic auxiliary, situation auxiliary, modality auxiliary and others, and respectively classify them according to their grammar format, their meanings and functions, compare and analyze them, and investigate their historical development, in order to display the whole auxiliary words in Piao tong shi yan jie. The last part, which summarizes the words in Piao tong shi yan jie, and compares them with the ancient Chinese and, comes to the conclusion that the auxiliary words in Piao tong shi yan jie carried forward the auxiliary words in Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty and Yuan Dynasty while developing themselves and many a words were more or less affacted by Mongolian grammar. |
