The Source Of Harmony On Ethics In Ancient History

It is a basic strategic goal of building a harmonious society for the grand Chinese national revival led by the Chinese Communist Party, which is in power. In terms of regulatory mechanism, economic development is necessarily required as material support for the building of harmonious society, political civilization as institutional guarantee, but also spiritual and cultural lenitive as motivation of moral and devotional believes. Only under comprehensive effect of political, economic and cultural aspects, the building of harmonious society could be realized. In the sense of politics and economy, there are a number of studies about the building of harmonious society. However, culturally, there are few studies about building harmonious society in the sense of traditional ethic culture. Grounded on this fact, we think it is necessary to illuminate the edificatory effect of some thoughts for the building of harmonious society, therefore providing reference in the sense of history of thoughts. This paper is trying to provide some traditional cultural reference through illuminating history of thoughts on building harmonious society and assimilating reasonable factors of every theory.
