Research On The Time-limited Mode Of Movie Narration

Time is an important topic in cinema theory. A good many theorists focus their research on the relation of real-time and cinema-time. But the time-limited mode is a blind space ignored by theory. There is no theorist to explain it. The research object in this article is the time-limited mode of movie narration.The essay is composed of three parts: preface, text and epilogue:Preface, i.e. I will analyze the time limit and the mode. From that, I will define the concept of time-limited mode of movie narration. That is a structure form in which the actor needs to complete a series of actions to release himself or others from crises in limited time.The text is composed of five parts as follows:Part 1: the history of the time-limited mode, i.e. It's a prevalent mode in narration art. Because of the stable reality base and the profound philosophy groundwork, it can be full of energy and vigour in the work of art all the time. I will analyze the components of the mode with the method of morphological story. From that, I summarized four function items: regulated time, being rescued, saving crisis, and handicaps.Part 2: the particularity of this mode, i.e. it represents in three parts as follows: the electronic media, the stereoscopic forms of description and the synthetical effect.Part 3: the presentational forms of the mode, i.e. I will unfold the application and the differences of the narration mode by analyzing many typical movies. In order to make up the theory structure, this part offers many materials.Part 4: the narrative effect of the mode and how to make excellent movies, i.e. we must pay attention to four aspects as follows. First, fill the mode with many new things, for example, new characters, new conflicts and so on. Second, we should use many new technologies to produce movies. Third, the director should dispark the text in order to attract audience. Finally, we should pay attention to the process. Only in this, can we produce many good movies.Part 5: the social function of the mode, .i.e. this mode has not only narration function, it also has entertainment function. Because of that, this mode can bring in huge commercial profits and can be applied to the transmission in ideology. This part will put the thesis in the social culture background. Accordingly, this question will have more epoch meaning.In the epilogue, I make a summary on the essay; what's more, from the position of Chinese movies we can learn the value of the time-limited mode of movie narration. I make an expectation to the future of our national movies.
