After the 1840 Opium War the Chinese society changes fundamentally.Under the double squeeze of imperialism and feudalism,Chinese working people's life becomes more poverty-stricken and various contradictions of the late Qing Dynasty intensify further. The Taiping Revolutionary Movement breaks out in this background and promulgates two important programmatic documents, "System of Land Ownership of the Heavenly Kingdom" and "A New Treative on Political Counsel".These two documents are formulated by the leaders of the Taiping Revolution. "System of Land Ownership of the Heavenly Kingdom" is a revolutionary program of abolishing feudal land ownership. Although it has certain fantasy and cann't be completely implemented,it reflects the fundamental aspirations of the majority of the peasants and once enormously inspires the revolutionary enthusiasm. "A Treative on Political Counsel" is the first programmatic document to study the western capitalism and develop the Chinese modern industry. It isn't concretely carried out,but some reform plans are implemented by Zeng Guofan etc.Based on predecessors' research results of "System of Land Ownership of the Heavenly Kingdom" and "A New Treative on Political Counsel",the article tries to maximize the analysis and comparison of them. Through the general analysis and summary of the predecessors, the article finally completes the study of the two guiding principles.
