From the single-part music of Church mode to the harmony tune of Renaissance, to the tune of the neo-classical, to the tune of Romantic expansion to a near-modern, non-transfer of the 12 audio system, which embodies the worship of from God to the people, to the worship of the individual, the personality cult and finally to the liberation of personality. And all of these are the epitome of the history of human development. The purpose of this study is to analyze the progress of tonality and modes from 9th century to 20th century and to summarize the acoustic perspective of Tonality and Modes. After the historic and systematical analyses for the changing of modes, the origin, form, evolution, disintegration and methods to establish for the tonality, the sound scientific pattern is explored. In modern solfeggio lessons, the training of intervals, steps and chords are not emphasized. Instead, we tried to put the technical problem into the real music work and let students feel the same steps or chords in different music. When take the dictations, owing to the different style of tonality and modes, the students should be trained comprehensively in tonality, modes, style and so on.
