Beloved is a great novel that typifies the vantage of Toni Morrison, the first Afro-American woman writer who won the Nobel Prize. Based on the main content of Beloved, the essay analyzes into to two parts: one is inquiring the deep connotation of the novel content by explaining the female group, female politics and identity; the other is analyzing the power relationship expressed by narrative perspective and time, structure and the language, to master Morrison's superb narrative writing skills.As a black female, Morrison has the strong sense of historical mission. She was trying to find a Non-marginalization way for those disadvantage black females through writing. The essay uses the concept of"human"to analyzing how the black females have experienced the pursuit of cultural identities and the survival value in the whites wanton trampling society. Here comes the special black Feminism from her. Concentrating on the female body, Morrison wants to extend the slavery physical control violations and planning. Meanwhile, Morrison also pointed out that African Americans as slaves they should use their own pain caused by slavery, the physical damage to establish their own identity and have the slavery subversion.Morrison's Beloved can be used as the representative of contemporary political . Through the body narrative expressed by Michel Foucault, the essay reveals the body politics is not only demonstrate the slave physical control, but also point out that as disadvantage group , African-American slaves trying to retain its own identity and strategy.Morrison is a great writer. Beloved enjoys the integrated plot structure and pretty narrative language. The essay develops the content using narrative approach to analyze the inner relationship between narrative center and marginal narrative, and the new meaning into English literature brought by female writing styles. Morrison's vision and skills enrich the contemporary world literature creation. Moreover, the essay also tries to explore the theme by Morrison's writing skills on multi-focusing and the conversion within hearts. Meanwhile, through the analysis of unique narrative structure of Beloved, it's easy to find that the narrative structure is unbalanced, no signs, and keep repetition, which can deepen and extend the theme of the novel. Finally, the essay is guided by discourse theory, analyzing the relationship between language and power from the view of vocabulary, grammar, rhetoric, etc. Here are two antagonistic words of slavery and black slaves during the main plot developing process, which affirmed the strength of black slaves groups and the hope of this nation while criticizing the inhuman slavery.
