A Study On Socio-economic Development Of Hui Muslim In Yaojie Community

Yaojie lies on the border area of Gansu and Qinghai province,and is famous for coal and electricity.There are some special Muslim people living in Yaojie,where full of industries and mining enterprises,They moved into Yaojie before 1950s,the economy and Society in their community had undered several changes.However,they were not workers,and not the traditional farmers either.Gradually,they became a special group,they are living and working between the city and rural area,the enterprises and countryside,with dual characteristic,so the community can be researched in ethnosociology.Ethnic minority economy is a great part of the policy of nationality and national economy,especially in ethnic group communities,which locatede at the border area of cities and countryside.Therefore,it is very important to Speed the economic and social development in Yaojie.This article will take the Muslim community of four villages as a case,investigate and study the socio-economic changes of the community, try to emerge the economic and social changes of Hui nationality in Yaojie,and find out the characteristic in these changes.Furthermore,the paper analyses the relationship and interaction between economic development and social development.At last,the author points out some problems that come from the new period of street development in community of Hui nationalty,and gives some advices for the socio-economic development in Yaojie.
