| This essay is to briefly discuss research study courses according to research study theory, indoor design course features and training target of secondary professional schools, combined with students'learning features. Research course teaching module is a course-opening teaching and learning module, which is combined with practice, adjusting to the current secondary professional education, coordinating with professional training target. At present, this theory has been popularized in middle and primary schools, while in secondary professional schools, it has just begun to be introduced, where such a theory is more suitable. It's of great signifcance to popularize this theory in secondary professional schools. Furniture, as the main furnishing display indoors, is daily life necessities, as well as a carrier of material and mental culturs, so the decorating language of Chinese furniture is a contacting point in studying new teaching theories and teaching methods. Teachers are required to teach inventively while students are required to learn inventively, then a free learning harmony is created for the students. The students'practising skills will be strengthened by combining research study with teaching; the students'designing thoughts will be widened; their aesthetic conceptions and creativity will be cultivated.The essay consists of four parts, with the preface to introduce the background, significance and research method of the topic, with the first chapter to analyze the current secondary professional education situation, the students'features and indoor design teaching.
