To study on the identity of Chinese feminine literature in Singapore and Malaysia, in a sense, is to probe the writers how to imagine, confirm and construct their culture and gender identity.In this thesis, we try to use the identity theory in the social psychology, and the feminist methods, to study the identity of Chinese feminine literature in Singapore and Malaysia, 1990s.Comparing with the local women's literature, we will study the ethnic Chinese identity of Singapore and Malaysia's feminine Chinese literature in the margin of mainstream culture; Comparing with the Chinese men's writer in the same period, we will study the gender identity of the feminine Chinese literature; And researching on the identity difference of women Chinese write in the European and North American, we will explore the regional, local feature in Chinese feminine literature in Singapore and Malaysia.After"floating to the surface of history", China women's literature highlights their gender identity and gender awareness in1990s. However, since the new century, China women's writing displays a continued weakness situation. To study the specific authors and works, we find that women creators in China are still facing the identity confusion. To some extent, the issue will impair their literary creation to a higher level. As a result, the identity of Chinese feminine literature in Singapore and Malaysia will refer China women's literature to a health and comprehensive development in the future.
