The Comparative Study Of The Shaanxi-Gansu Hui Uprising During Tongzhi Years

The Shaanxi-Gansu Hui uprising, from Tongzhi the first year to Tongzhi 12 years, was the most protracted , the most sacrificed and the most far-reaching impact of all the Northwest Hui uprising in the Qing Dynasty.No matter from the perspective of the geographic relationship and the time relationship, Hui uprising in Gansu was closely related to that in Shaanxi. But contact didn't mean that there was no difference, There were many different places, including the reasons for the occurrence of the uprising, the uprising organizational forms, leaders and purpose, between the Gansu Hui uprising and the Shaanxi Hui uprising. In this paper, On the basis of analyzing the Shaanxi Hui uprising deeply, I divided the Gansu Hui uprising into Ningxia and Zhenzhou two major centres to compare with the Shaanxi Hui uprising. Through comparing and analyzing the Hui uprising in Shaanxi and Gansu province, not only to Clarify the historical truth, to make a correct evaluation of the uprising, and I hope that can strengthen the unity of the people of Hui, strengthen the unity of all nationalities in the country, strengthen national unity and promote the development of various undertakings through this research.
