A Study On The Deng Yuan's Guoji And The Writting Of The Northern Wei National History

Since the forming of the Tuopa to the end of the Northern Wei, the writting of the Tuopa history is basically continuous. Guoji ,the first history records on Wei Dynasty, which written by Dengyuan, became the first historical records of the Minority. According to the records of Wei Shu, Pei Chi Shu, when later scholars wrote the history of Wei concerning Tuopa's ancestor, they mainly based on Guoji. In the history of Chinese History, the status and influence of Guoji is profound and prominent. Firstly, it is the beginning of the history of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Secondly, it is a national history of Tuopa Hsien-pei. Thirdly, it is better to say that Guoji is the first Dynasty history under the Minority regime. However, there is no general explain about Guoji so far. In my opinion, Guoji can be classified as the beginning national history. Then, I regard Guo Shu, which written by Cui Hao, as the early national history, Gao Yun Guoji ,the middle period, Li Biao and Cui Guang Guo Shu, the acme. According to the classification, I intend to analyze the whole national history of the Northern Wei Dynasty in detail, in order to make out the major changes of the written history of this period. The changes, however, lead to the written of the history of Northern Wei Dynasty to last for a very long period. But there is no complete Contemporary History after all.
