Changsha Dialect, which has been one of the focuses of dialectology research, is the representative one of the Chang-Yi group in Xiang dialect. The vivid forms of Changsha Dialect are in large numbers, with the abundant types and obvious characteristic. Accordingly, there is no doubt that they are in high value of research. This paper focuses on the vivid forms of monosyllabic adjectives in Changsha Dialect. It purposes to show the panorama of this kind of vivid forms through the re-investigation to dialectal material and much more substantial information. Based on this, we try to open out the phonetic and grammatical traits of them.It is divided into three parts: the first part is mainly about the definition of vivid forms, the object of this research, the collection of materials and the principle of choosing dialectal characters; the second part is about to study the 12 kinds of vivid forms of monosyllabic adjective in Changsha Dialect, discussing the internal characteristics through the practical materials; the last one is the review of the expressive differentia of vivid forms, in order to explain the reason of that by the model and phonetic aspects.
