The Relation Research Between The Armed Policemen's Self Concept And Coping Style,Interpersonal Trust

Focusing on the armed policemen's mental health, the paper probed into the relations between armed policemen's self-concept and coping style, interpersonal trust.Based on the summarization of the relative research, this research investigated 542 armed policemen with self-concept of armed policemen and coping style, interpersonal trust questionnaires .The results were as followed:The relations between armed policemen's self-concept and coping style: except for service self-concept, the whole self-concept, belief and fellow self,social self,competence self,successful self had high correlations with armed policemen's coping style. They had positive correlations with the coping style of"solving problem"and"ask for help". Negative self had positive correlations with the coping style of"self-blaming","illusion"and"retreating".The relations between armed policemen's self-concept and interpersonal trust: the armed policemen's self-concept had correlations with interpersonal trust to some extent.Multiple Stepwise Regression Analysis on coping styles, all factors of self-concept as independent variables, showed that the predicative function is shown in the problem-solving and asking for help ways; belief and fellow self entered regression formula; belief and fellow self negative predicted avoiding way; the negative self could predict rationalization, self-blaming and illusion.Multiple Stepwise Regression Analysis on interpersonal trust, all factors of self-concept as independent variables, showed that belief and fellow self and negative self entered the regression formula in turn, with belief and fellow self explaining 18.1% of interpersonal trust and together explaining 27%.In the end, the paper put forward some educational advices,analyzed thedeficiency and expectation of this research.
