But due to the need of more professional knowledge and its complexity, legal case story as an important part of the novel, arouses a few people's interest and for many years ,the systematical studies to it are seldom done. However, with further research, we will find that the legal case story appears not only in the narrative plot of the whole work from time to time, covering a large part, which turns out to be a leading clue, obvious or hidden, for our sideways understanding to A Dream of Red Mansions. In addition, through the series of the legal case stories, its critical and disclosing theme is deepened, which plays an irreplaceable role in its theme, characters shaping, plot development and so on.
