Research On Changes From Pure Land Faith Of The Western Regions To Pure Land Sects Of The Central Plains

There are many Pure Land in Buddhism.This paper refers to the Maitreya Pure Land and Amitabha Pure Land. They are the two largest schools in China and occupies a very prominent position.Pure Land Faith stems from India's Mahayana Buddhism period,but Pure Land Sect established in the Central Plains during the Tang dynasty. Amitabha and Maitreya Faith is the main theme in the evolution of this paper. More detailed study on changes from the Pure Land Faith of the Western Regions to Pure Land Sect of the Central Plains.The author discussed the rise and decline of faith inherent ties of the Amitabha and Maitreya faith,and Pure Land Sects forming process. In addition to the full text of introduction and the end is divided into three parts.In the first part,the author defines what is the Pure Land Faith and what is the Pure Land Sect.The general described the history of them. The author explained overall their historical origins according to the etymology and the the semantics, and know Amitabha and Maitreya with homology. They are prototype of the sun god and the god bright of ancient Persia and India. Maitreya faith is a complete system and it is divided into the sky and underground faith.It can be divided into Maitreya Bodhisattva faith, Maitreya Buddha faith, and Maitreya Pure Land faith.In the second part , the author studied the Amitabha and Maitreya faith of Buddhism in the Western Regions,and particularly focused on the Western Regions in the widespread Maitreya Faith.In the third part, the author focuses on Maitreya Faith in the process of the rise and fall of the Central Plains, the rise of Avalokitesvara , Amitabha faith in the prevalence of the Central Plains,and the formation of the Pure Land sect. The author studied the reasons for these changes.At the end of the article,the author researched Maitreya Faith the reasons for the decline,the new image of Maitreya,and the Pure land Sect returen to the Western Regions.
