Supervisors in college are administrators dealing with students work on the front line on campus, and they are backbone to carry out mental education for college students. Plus they are leaders and guiders for college students'healthy development. Therefore, the quality of this team decides and influnces the effects of mental education to a great extent. At present, supervisors are faced with all sorts of pressure owing to new situations of students management on campus, which effects initiative and substantial results of supervisors. In such circumstances, it makes a lot sense to study sources of working stress for supervisors in college. By far most of researchers studied the development of supervisors from theoretical aspect, neglecting practical research, and study of supervisor's working stress are fewer. This stuy analyzes sources of working stress through literature analysis and investigation of opening questionnaire. It makes up a questionnaire of working stress for supervisors in college based on previous study and advice of aspects, and then investigates 201 supervisors of 11 colleages in and out Shandong province, the results show that:1. DiscriminationThe subtests between high groups and low groups are highly differentiated, which demonstrates sound discrimination.2. validity(1)Construct validity: After factor analysis,the construct is found to be fine.(2)Content validity: We measured the correlation between total scale and subtests,and the result showed the correlation between total scale and subtests is high. Therefore,content validity of the scale can meet the demands of workout.3. reliability(1)Homogeneity reliability: The internal reliability is very satisfactory (Cronbachα=0.8539,subtests'Cronbachα=0.7053~0.8851). (2)Split-half reliability: The split-half reliability of gross scale is0.7046,which shows the content measured is homologous.Investigations have been made on 201 supervisors of 11 colleages in and out Shandong province with the self-made"Scale for stress on supervisors",and the results are as follows:1.The two sources of working stress to influnce supervisors most greatly are working burden and school management and evaluation, supervisors are faced with high pressure.2.Supervisors have psychological problems to some extent. They are likely to be suffered compulsion, frustration, and somatization.3.The sources of working stress varies according to gender, age, education background, working time and rank.4.Sources of working stress and psychological health are obviously relevant with each other. Six sources of working stress have positive correlation with psychological health. It can be concluded: the more higher working stress become, the more worse psychological health would be.5.Two factors influencing psychological health of supervisors are: working burden, family aspect.
